At the time of this writing this accreditation has been awarded to fewer than twenty-five (25) employment screening companies across the nation.
Achieving accreditation through the NAPBS Background Screening Accreditation Program is the result of a rigorous review and onsite audit by an independent auditing firm of an employment screening company’s policies and practices. The accreditation provides validation of PeopleFacts’s dedication and adherence to key industry standards as they relate to the critical client and consumer areas of: consumer protection, legal compliance, client education, research and data product standards, verification service standards, and general business practices. As described in connection with the launch of the Accreditation Program, NAPBS explained “This recognition will stand as the industry “seal” representing a background screening organization’s commitment to excellence, accountability, high professional standards and continued institutional improvement.”
